Thank you so much for standing by us in these difficult times. Dr Sidra stated we would not be left alone and he's stood by his word. Thanks to his secretaries for answering my queries and the phone consultations with Dr Sidra and also the nurses doing blood tests. Thanks all for your dedication and care for cancer sufferers.

I wanted to say thank you for the care and treatment given to my wife, Lee (Lee-Anne Lindsley.) As a husband, I am incredibly grateful that you saved Lee's life and then started her recovery. You are wonderful people. As a fellow member of the NHS staff, you have made me very proud. I am planning on a sponsored event to raise money for your Trust charity, as I would like to give what I can back, as a way of saying thank you.

A massive thank you goes out to all NHS staff, who attended to our brother in December for their care, understanding and their endless support. He was transferred to Q.M.C. Notts, on blue lights. We are so thankful for this decision and will be forever grateful. He spent many weeks there. But thankfully, is now back home and continues to recover. Again, thank you each and everyone of you for all that you do. You are very much appreciated. xxx

I would like to thank Mr T for his excellent skill, care and thoughtfulness when undertaking my recent breast surgery and to Dr Shepherd for keeping me safe, when my oesophageal pouch caused issues during surgery! Sorry I forgot to mention it! Thanks also to all the lovely staff on the Ward and in theatres. (Remember me? I'm the lady with the Circus roots!!). I felt valued and safe during my time at Grantham. You are doing a wonderful job. Stay safe. Love Carol Young x

I broke my humerus in three places last November and am grateful for the excellent care received during a stressful experience, especially given the extra precautions needed because of Covid. I was pleased to be able to heal naturally rather than have an operation and have been very impressed with treatment and the follow-up online physiotherapy sessions. In addition to being thankful to staff in A&E and the Orthopaedic Team, small kindnesses stand out from people not involved in my direct care, including help from door staff, and a passing nurse who gave me a blanket because I looked cold when waiting in A&E. Thank you all for your extra hard work in difficult times x
