I would like to thank Staff Nurse Virgil, who assessed me at A&E on Friday afternoon, who was very kind and made sure I was kept safe in the Families Room, whilst waiting because I am a cancer patient undergoing chemo. I felt bad for being in A&E as I should have been dealt with by my GP, but told I had to attend A&E. I would especially like to thank the two wonderful doctors who treated me. I unfortunately did not get their names ,but I hope they will realise this praise is for them. They were both thorough, kind and caring and arranged bloods ECG & CT and provided appropriate medication for me. The dept was very busy with some challenging patients, but they made me feel valued and safe, not a nuisance. Thank you so very much.

I spent a weekend in mid May on the Ward and I observed how hard everyone was working and some excellent care. No one wants to be in hospital, but I remember feeling well cared for, from the nurse who helped me feel confident and reassured when she took out the stitches to the Domestic who put the butter and marmalade on my toast without me asking, because I had one infected hand and one canulated hand. Thank you everyone.
