I am so impressed with the quality of care and compassion at Lakeland View. As a paramedic in the south west I have a great deal of experience of care homes and witness an array of care practices. Sat with my father in law for an hour yesterday I witnessed exceptional care by a number of your staff, they were responsive and aware of each other and all of the residents (some of whom displayed inevitable challenging behaviour). I witnessed patience and compassion in abundance and was so impressed to see ongoing activities with a balloon being thrown and group singing. It is so reassuring for our family to know that Rex Morris is happy and settled where he is. We have seen a vast improvement in his mood, weight, and general demeanour. Thank you all, it’s impossible to single one sole member of staff out…

Thank you to Arrondale Care Home, Coppull, who recently piloted the Translating Care Training Programme, delivered by Lancashire Adult Learning and now available via via Lancashire and South Cumbria Training Hub - www.lscthub.co.uk The forward thinking support from the registered manager and directors at Aarondale, along with the commitment and enthusiasm of the staff shown during the sessions and positive feedback on the course, has been received by all involved with thanks. This course is now available, for other social care providers to sign up to, for their nursing and care staff who have been recently recruited from overseas, and working in social care. Well done Aarondale.
