To: Ellie Coulbeck
Heads of Patient Experience Network, Birmingham, Birmingham

It has been a pleasure working with, and getting to know, Ellie Coulbeck. Over the last 12 months, Ellie has run the HOPE Health Inequalities Working Group and devised a programme to support professional development and learning across the network. This included organising and chairing three very well attended Lunch and Learn sessions. These lively sessions included an introduction to understanding inequality in healthcare, using patient experience data to improve care for people with protected characteristics and also, approaches to digital inclusion. Thanks very much Ellie – they were fab events.

To: Charlotte Augst

Thanks to Charlotte Augst from National Voices for a brilliant contribution to the HOPE Digital Exclusion lunch and Learn yesterday. Charlotte's helpful insight and advocacy for patient-centred care, inclusion, co-production and CVS involvement in addressing inequality, was very inspirational. Thanks so much for your time and thoughtful contributions to reducing digital exclusion.

To: Dr Brin Hodgkiss

Thanks to Dr Brin Hodgkiss from NHS Digital for his presentation and film, which were shared at the Digital Exclusion Lunch and Learn yesterday. His film of patient stories and their experiences of digital primary care during Covid-19 was very moving. It acted as a call to action; reminding us of the need to consider inclusion and communication for everyone who accesses healthcare. It was a fantastic contribution to the session. Thank you :)
