A massive thank you to all Year 7 staff for for all your hard work with online learning, which went so well. I'm so glad my son had so much support over lockdown with his learning, which kept him on track and I've really enjoyed listening into some lessons and actually knowing what my son is learning, supporting as much as I could and even learnt a few things on the way. Particularly enjoyed cooking with Mrs Souter, Art with Miss Hughes, laughs with Miss Holland and a favourite, history with Mr Mooney. Thank again for all your hard work and support in such a tough time for everyone x

I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every member of teaching and support staff for the amazing job they have done in keeping the College running at new, but still extremely high standards over the last year+, to ensure the students have been supported. I am in awe of how so many have picked up new IT expertise and gone completely above and beyond, what they thought they signed up for as teachers,to make sure students received the teaching and contact they needed. The Caretaking and Catering Teams must have been stretched with additional processes and demands to keep everyone safe, but clean and fed and all the backroom staff and processes in a College of this size, will have played their part too. So thank you all for providing a high level of care and education for my children.

When my daughter wouldn't take off her jumper for Drama, Mrs Rowe didn't send her to RTL, or give her a Negative point. Instead she took her aside and when my daughter wouldn't tell her exactly why, Mrs Rowe sensed something was wrong. She took her to the Head of Year, and my daughter was able to open up and an issue she had been keeping to herself was exposed. We have been able to give my daughter the help and support she needs to work through it. Had Mrs Rowe not followed her intuition, the issue would have manifested itself and the outcome could have been much worse. I am forever grateful to this teacher for going above and beyond.
