To: Senior Matron Leigh Dillon, Adult Community Services - The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust
I have too much to thank Leigh for that I can't fit it all into this message box! Leigh is one of my best friends and earlier this year encouraged me to change career and join the NHS. I am now in a job I absolutley love!! I was unhappy in my previous role but also very reluctant to make the move as I was lacking confidence, but Leigh's encouragement and belief in me gave me the push to go for it and I am forever thankful to her. She is now one of my bosses as well as my best friend which I feel very privileged to be able to say. Leigh inspires me in life anyway but seeing her in action at work has only increased my admiration for her. She is so passionate about her work and it shines through in everything she does.... truly inspirational. A real asset to the NHS and to me as a best friend! THANK YOU Leigh, from the bottom of my heart x

To: All in Pathology at UHP
Thank you to all the staff working in Pathology, working so hard over the past two years. We have had a lot of pressure on our fantastic teams but my gosh did you all deliver! At no point did we have to suspend service, we rearranged our departments to help the diagnosis of C Covid and at a moment's notice had to cover shifts due to isolation. This was only done by each an everyone's personal sacrifice and team working, you are all an incredible bunch and I hope all reflect on what you have done during this trying time, may this year bring the sunshine you all deserve and thank you again x
