I was admitted to A&E on 14th October last year, after a complex fracture of my hip. It was a very busy Saturday evening. I was in a lot of pain and a nurse tended to me when I needed assistance; was very calm., patient & friendly. He was quite outstanding in his care and approach & I noticed very vigilant with other patients throughout. He was a credit to the NHS and an outstanding nurse. When I was moved to the Ward there was a nurse there who stood out. Most of the nurses were very good but she was exceptional. She had that calm bedside manner, was very efficient & thorough & nothing was too much trouble. I was always very happy to see her come on duty. I hope she will be told of my appreciation & I'm sure I speak on behalf of most of the other patients in Coombs Ward at that time.

All my adult life I have struggled to settle into a job where I have felt comfortable and happy. I've always wanted a job that not only pays well but also where I would be treated as an individual and not just a number.
I’ve been working at Whispers for over two years now and I can honestly say it’s the best company I've worked for. Since working at Whispers I have continued to develop new skills to improve on the quality of care I can give to service users. Whispers have given me some of the best opportunities I've had in my life, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
I seriously can not thank everyone at Whispers enough for everything they have done to support me on my journey. I continue to look forward to seeing what other future opportunities await me here!
